for vaccines, preventive drugs, and so on can be obtained from the
CDC (Centers for Disease Control) web site www.cdc.gov/travel
You and your primary care physician can use this information to
prepare for foreign travel, but sometimes the easiest alternative is
to go to a "travel clinic." Some primary care physicians and
most infectious disease physicians should be able to direct you to
one of these clinics.
